<p><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">ENERGY CROP PLANTATIONS<br>Clenergen has entered into a s MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT between BOLEWURA GBEADESE AMANKWA II, THE PARAMOUNT CHIEF OF BOLE TRADITIONAL AREA OF THE GONJA TRADITONAL COUNCIL to sub lease 5000 hectares of land (equivalent to 12,500 acres) in the Bole Traditional Area. This land will be used for the development and cultivation of energy crops, in order to produce a feed stock for use in a biomass power plants and generation of renewable electricity.The sub lease of the land will be for a minimum period of forty nine (49) years at a nominal lease cost per annum.<br>The Black Volta River will provide water river irrigation and access for irrigation of the energy crop plantations. The project will result in the re-forestation of the land for the purpose of cultivation of energy crop plantations and Install road logistics for the transportation of wood chips. The project will stimulate the rural economies through the production of renewable and sustainable electricity.</span></span></p>
