High Level Interactive Panel Discussion - Advancing Low Carbon Development in the West African Region, 8th December 2015, Africa Pavilion, Le Bourget Paris France, on the occasion of COP21. 

The ECOWAS Center for Renewable and Energy Efficiency-ECREEE invites you to the high level interactive panel discussion on Tuesday 8th of December 2015 from 14:00 to 15:30 in salle 1 at the Africa pavilion hall during COP21 at Le Bourget Paris France.

The event is organized to facilitate discussions on how the region can mobilize its potentials in advancing Low Carbon Development. The specific objective of the event is to determine the Imperatives and benefits for Low-Carbon Development in the West African Region. Key questions on how to harness or catalyze theses benefits in the West African region will also be addressed. However, the institutional challenges, capacity gaps and financial barriers to realize this potential are considred invariably large and will require effective assistance from the development community.

The event will bring together policy makers, Key decision Makers, financiers, including the private sector and the civil society.

The event will be graced by the following Panlist:
